QNX Releases Eclipse-based IDE

I always thought WebSphere Application Developer Studio was the first one based on the Eclipse platform that is commercial.

Does this imply QNX now has a Java VM? (or did it all along?)

There was a Java VM available in their packages repository. I can't remember which one it was, though.

QNX has had a JVM for quite some time, specifically the J9 VM from IBM which adheres to the J2ME spec, ie it isn't a full J2SE VM.

J9 has been available for quite some time. It has served as the Applet Viewer within the Voyager browser and offers custom and J2ME compliant class libraries. See http://www.embedded.oti.com/compat for the J2ME certification matrix.
