That's because nobody else considers those countries a threat. If you guys want to start modern day Crusades, you can damn well do it yourselves.

Since WWII, European leaders keep coming to the US begging for military help because they can't deal with the threats themselves, whether it's Iran, Vietnam, Libya, or many other crises.

Of course, the European populace, like you, prefers to live in blissful ignorance of both what's going on in the world and what their own politicians are doing.
