KDE 3.2.2 Released 22
An anonymous reader writes "The KDE Project today announced the immediate availability of KDE 3.2.2, a maintenance release for the 'advanced and powerful free desktop for GNU/Linux and other UNIXes'. The new version provides corrections of problems reported using the KDE bug tracking system and enhanced support for existing translations. Mirrors found here."

Jeez, keep up with the times, will you! I mean, how hard is it REALLY to keep a local copy of the CVS tree on your local hard drive and recompile every night from there? Sheesh!
(And the sad thing is that, although I'm joking, this isn't too far off of what I actually DO....)

As for the veracity of their obviously hyperbole-laden claims, I'd be happy if I could get the freaking PDF embedding to work right in konqueror.
But really, do you expect them to say something like, "KDE
Marketing 101: your product is the best. Apple got in trouble because they said their computers are the fastest, which is quite easily disputed.
Saying that your stuff is the 'greatest' is rather more subjective.
(BTW: I like KDE, but I absolutely hate the KIO_Slaves.)

You're right. They should instead follow the usual OSS Software release announcement.
