  • I'd pay them the money to avoid installing it. Even if I didn't plan to use Oracle, I'd pay good money to provide a shield against having to install it myself: it's been an awful mess every time I've done it.

    As a hint: 'cd ..' is not the same as cd 'dirname $PWD`', and should never be used for the same purpose.
