Graduated Seneca College - Computer Engineering Technology Co-op with Honours (CETC), Class of 99'

Living in Toronto, from the grand ol' town of Port Elgin (Bruce County), ON. I ride a 2004 Honda Shadow Aero 750, and also have a 2000 Cavalier z24. I have two cats and a bunch of fish. I work with computers, but would prefer they be outdoors - I don't see that happening anytime soon. I flyfish and cast as well, and enjoy hunting, they're quite peaceful and relaxing - especially when Bambi is in your sights or when you reel in a Brookie. Some people think I am god. I don't. I'm not even sure if I'm "cool" :-)

Ok kids... twas my brother's wedding back at the end of January, and this might be some kind of hint, for something or other.

That's all I gotta say for now, except the airport customs at Montego Bay took three hours to get through, damn bags, freakin' heavy. Anybody been to Jamaica, Montego Bay? Particularly the airport? Even more particularly customs check in area? Waaaayyyyy too much luggage for seven days, ooh well.

Long story short, it was a good time, my brother got hitched, went deep sea fishing, took a lot of pictures, saw a lot of tittie :) oh, and the ladies, let me tell you something, the ladies were butter in me hands... no doubt about it heh.

The best part about reading other peoples' journals (heh, thanks tom!)... finding what the definition of "Atheist" really is!

I just did this quiz.

What's odd is, for the longest time I felt because of my beliefs I fell into the category of "Agnostic" because someone explained that an ahthiest somehow believed themselves to be god because they did not beleive in god (some kind of false reasoning or strawman logic badly applied to the definition that I never cared to look into), now I know they were just trying to get me to conform ;)

Actually, I think it shows more that I care so little about the whole "god" thing that I never actually bothered to confirm what they said until I actually saw a definition! Man, and it's been like 8 years! Oh well, at least I was on the same side of the fence... sort of - it looks like I could easily be a satanist as well, heh!

---------------------------

You scored as atheism.

You are... an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul. Instead of simply being "nonreligious," atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.

atheism - 100%
Satanism - 100%
Paganism - 67%
Islam - 50%
Buddhism - 42%
Christianity - 33%
Judaism - 33%
Hinduism - 0%
agnosticism - 0%

This Damn Relationship Poll thing...

Ok, so I broke down and did this thing. I just wound up bagging myself a helluva catch a couple weeks ago - so now I have a "Girlfriend" and I figured I'd take this poll as others seem to have been doing, you know, to see what kind of arsehole I am... here's my scores...

eXpressive: 6/10
Practical: 8/10
Physical: 3/10
Giver: 4/10

You are a XPIT--Expressive Practical Intellectual Taker. This makes you a Manager.

You are cool, thoughtful and intelligent. Your approach and your sense of humor are under-the-radar, your charm is undeniable. You keep everything under control. You have distinctive vocal mannerisms. You may not have much interest in approaching strangers, but when you do, you are successful.

You will probably end up with someone beautiful, fascinating and off-balance. While your partner may steal the limelight, it's you that keeps things running smoothly and provides stability in your relationship. If you are with someone as contemplative and hard-headed as you, you can have a tough time.

Your greatest asset is that you tackle conflict as it rises -- you don't ignore it and let it brew. If you have a partner that *does* let it brew, it will make you crazy! You can find yourself fighting for two -- trying to anticipate your partner's needs and draw their feelings out -- which is exhausting and, well, not your job.

You would never cheat. You would make an excellent spouse. When your spouse's friends met you, they would think, "Crap, why couldn't I get that one?"

Of the 36740 people who have taken this quiz, 5.1 % are this type.

Wow. All I gotta say is wow.

Went to the Summer Solstice this year, it was moved from near Bancroft, ON to just outside Walkerton, ON (just west of County 19, on Concession 14 - near the Saugeen River) and it was the most amazing thing I have ever been too. Well, that is - from what I can remember.

Thousands of cars parked in the first field, rolling fields of tents and sound stages, the bush with carved out pathways and a couple more stages, the river, naked chicks, it was awesome. The whole place was a giant drug filled love in. New age hippie styles (with some old age hippies as well). Communal kitchen, people everywhere, there must have been 4 or 5 thousand people. People from the States, from Alberta and Manitoba, BC, people from Nova Scotia - just crazy!

Anyways, it's near impossible to explain, the music just rocked - hard ass dark beats at my favorite stage hosted by the blacklight activists, wicked show guys and gals!

Oh yeah, and if yer into punk rock, checkout www.swiftyellow.com - it's the band of one of our neighbor's from the weekend. Anyhow, make it out next year - that is my recommendation to everyone. Hope to see you all there!
