Are there any other compiled Object Oriented Hybrid languages out there with better syntax?

I've not tried it yet to comment wether it looks better. Its C with the OO features of SmallTalk thrown, which makes it sound appealing to me, in the sense its C and has credibile OO features.

Other compiled OO languages ? Yes, it never hurts to learn more. Take a look at Eiffel, and/or or OCaml (this is a hybrid language, actually more functional than OO)
