FOSSA is Buying StackShare, a Site Used By 1.5 Million Developers (techcrunch.com) 4
Open-source compliance and security platform FOSSA has acquired developer community platform StackShare, the company confirmed to TechCrunch. From a report: StackShare is one of the more popular platforms for developers to discuss, track, and share the tools they use to build applications. This encompasses everything from which front-end JavaScript framework to use to which cloud provider to use for specific tasks.

'I learned many other developers faced this same challenge and thought the best solution would be to bring everyone together into one online community that had some structure and data to be able to facilitate discussion.'"
Wait, the problem was not being able to decide which technologies to use and you solved it by inviting more developers to get together and argue about it? I would never have thought of that. Also, I would probably never have believed that. Also, I never will!

I've never heard of either of these. Who are these 1.5 million developers? Is these mostly a non-US/Europe userbase? If so, fine, but that would explain my ignorance of their existence.
