  • "Yonas Beshawred, [StackShare's] solo founder, told TechCrunch that he created the company because he personally found it difficult to choose which technologies he should use to build web applications. 'I learned many other developers faced this same challenge and thought the best solution would be to bring everyone together into one online community that had some structure and data to be able to facilitate discussion.'"

Wait, the problem was not being able to decide which technologies to use and you solved it by inviting more developers to get together and argue about it? I would never have thought of that. Also, I would probably never have believed that. Also, I never will!

Why be competent at your job when you can have a bunch of nerds fight to the death over it? Whichever flag is still standing at the end is the technology you use, and you never had to put any thought or effort into it

      win win

  • I've never heard of either of these. Who are these 1.5 million developers? Is these mostly a non-US/Europe userbase? If so, fine, but that would explain my ignorance of their existence.

No spitting on the Bus! Thank you, The Mgt.
