You can grab a copy here. New features include virtual nodes for backup and recovery. Another feature added is atomic batches where patches can be reapplied if one of them fail. Also support for integrating into Hadoop. However, Cassandra does not directly support mapreduce, it can integrate with other noSQL databases that do use it easier with this release
