Web Developer's Handbook 25

vitaly.friedman writes "Bookmarks for web-developers, a list of useful tools supposed to make the life of web-workers easier, includes over 500 manually selected resources, tutorials, references and examples related to web-development. The "Web-Dev-Bookmarks" also includes links to other catalogs and lists related to web-design and web-development."

  • I'm always looking for good aggregators. Yes I can hit google myself, but the web is so big.... and of course if there is one thing on the web it is stuff about web development. So the volume can be overwhelming. I'll be happy to start perusing this site and see if it does a good job of finding worthwhile sites and saving me the time and effort of wading through the junk.

    The guy may have submitted his own site, but can you blame him? I don't. And I don't see anywhere he is asking for money from me.

    Maybe other readers know of similar sites (ie,
    to the one -with- the 'S' ...
    NOT to the religious site)?

    ... and if you can read Dutch, then Handleiding HTML [handleidinghtml.nl] is an excellent resource.
  • For me one of the most important things in a web is that it follow the standards so it can reach more people.

    I've been checking and I've not find any link to the latest versions of the standards.

    A web page for web developers must have a big & easy to find link to the actual standards and then some other links to tutorials, tips, etc...
